Chennai, Sept 13, 2025: In a grand Teachers’ Day celebration held in the city on Saturday, the Commerce teaching community received special recognition for their contributions to education. Organised by JK Shah Classes, a part of the Veranda Learning Group, the event honoured over 350 Commerce educators from across the State with the prestigious Commerce Guru Excellence Awards 2025.

CA J.K. Shah, founder of JK Shah Classes, presented the awards, commending the teachers for their unwavering commitment and the significant role they play in shaping students’ academic and professional journeys.

“While JK Shah Classes has guided thousands of students towards becoming Chartered Accountants and Cost and Management Accountants, it is the Commerce teachers who provide the crucial early foundation in subjects like Commerce and Accountancy,” Mr. Shah said in his address. “They are often the unsung heroes behind every student’s success, and today we have taken a moment to celebrate and appreciate them.”

CMA Vidhya Srikanth, Head of JK Shah Classes Tamil Nadu, shared that the institution plans to continue this tradition, with annual celebrations to honour the invaluable contributions of Commerce teachers in the years to come.
