Chennai: FICCI FLO Chennai, the women’s wing of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), led by its 31st Chairperson, Dr. CA.CMA.CS. Divya Abhishek acknowledges the accomplishments of women, by awarding those who have transcended to great heights in their own fields and are icons of inspiration for society with Chief Guest, Former Minister Hon’ble Smriti Irani, Govt. of India, Young Global leader, World Economic Forum and Guest of Honor, Mr.Vijay Sankar, Vice President of FICCI & Chairman - The Sanmar group.

The FICCI FLO Chennai Annual Book was also released by the esteemed dignitaries, encapsulating the impactful initiatives undertaken during 2024-25. These efforts under the leadership of Divya Abhishek have directly transformed the lives of over 55,642 women and continue to create a lasting impact on more than 3,23,000 women. The membership of FLO Chennai doubled during her tenure and is at an unprecedented number of 1100 members. The year 2024-25 witnessed over 270 events and projects undertaken and a record fund raising in the history of the organization.

Some of the mentionable and commendable achievements of this past year include the landmark partnership with SIPCOT, renowned for fostering industrial growth in Tamil Nadu, to establish first of its kind education based crèche facilities in 22 industrial parks.
A milestone initiative this year was the launch of "The Essential MSME Guide," unveiled by Ms. Roshni Nadar Malhotra, Chairperson of HCL Technologies. The MSME Minister of Tamil Nadu, T.M. Anbarasan, provided the foreword, officially released the book, and commended FLO Chennai for its efforts in supporting women entrepreneurs.
Launch of TN -RISE(Tamil Nadu Rural Incubator and Start up Enabler) to create more women-led startups in the Rural Areas. The Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin launched the Tamil Nadu Rural Incubator and Start-Up Enabler(TN-RISE) where FLO Chennai was onboarded to Mentor Rural Women Entrepreneurs and Self Help Groups.
In recognition of its tremendous work and for driving transformation and making lasting impact, FLO Chennai was honored with the Visionary Women Awards 2025 Enabler Award.

Accepting the new role, Niyati Mehta the incoming Chairperson addressed the gathering. She said "At Flo we own our brilliance without an apology, and we lifted others as we rise because when one woman shines, she lights up the way for many". The formal medal handover and change of Guard also took place.
The event witnessed a vibrant gathering of over 600 FICCI FLO members, eminent guests, and distinguished personalities from different business spheres, making it a stupendous celebration to mark the end of a fantastic year.The band Staccato enthralled the members with their upbeat music.
