Chennai, 15th December, 2024: Kauvery Hospital, a leading multispecialty healthcare provider, has launched the Centre of Excellence for the Management of Diabetes Complications, dedicated to addressing the rising burden of diabetes-related complications in India. Diabetes is a growing epidemic in India, with over 100 million people diagnosed with the condition, according to the Indian Council of Medical Research. A significant proportion of these individuals face debilitating complications. Diabetic patients experience neuropathy, which can lead to chronic pain and loss of sensation, cardiovascular diseases with a two- to fourfold increased risk of heart attacks and strokes.
