Chennai, June 22, 2024: Chennais Amirta Group of Institutions celebrated its 8th Convocation Day at Hotel Radisson Blu, Egmore, Chennai. The event marked a significant milestone for 250 graduating students who received Professional Diploma and Executive Diploma certifications from Open University Malaysia (OUM).
Chennais Amirta has partnered with OUM since 2012, leading in the provision of world-class education in hotel management. With over 10,000 successful graduates placed globally, the institution continues its commitment to excellence in hospitality education.

Honorable President of OUM, YBhg Prof Dr Ahmad Izanee Awang, conferred diplomas to graduates from the campuses of Chengulpet, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. In his address, he emphasized education’s role in shaping future hospitality leaders, commending Chennais Amirta for its academic excellence and holistic student development. He encouraged graduates to apply their skills for societal benefit.
Mr. R. Boomeenaathan, Chairman of Chennais Amirta Group, congratulated the graduates, stating, "We are immensely proud of our graduates and their accomplishments. Chennais Amirta remains dedicated to nurturing talent and preparing future leaders in hospitality." He urged graduates to uphold the institution’s values of innovation, compassion, and professionalism.
