Chennai: We are delighted to announce that the "Consular Day" Celebration event, organized jointly by Honorary Consular Corps Diplomatique India (HCCD) and Consular Corps Diplomatique Chennai (CCD), was held on March 29, 2024, at the TIC Grand Chola.
The evening is a testament to the strong collaboration between the two organizations, and the invitees include Ambassadors, Consul Generals, Honorary Consuls, Government Officials, Businessmen, and distinguished guests.

The highlight of the event wil be the presence of the Honourable Governor of Tamil Nadu, Thiru. R. N. Ravi, as the Chief Guest for this national event.

One of the memorable moments of the evening will be the presentation of achievement awards to deserving Honorary Consuls who are members of HCCD - India. The awards recognize individuals who are making outstanding contributions to their respective fields of diplomacy and international relations.

Chennai, March 24, 2026: In a landmark advancement for cardiac care in India, Madras Medical Mission (MMM) has successfully performed the country’s first implantation of the Evaheart Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD), while also achieving a global first with the implantation of the latest-generation Evaheart 3 model. The breakthrough procedure offers renewed hope for patients suffering from end-stage heart failure with limited treatment options. The procedure was carried out on a 42-year-old man who presented with severe chest pain and breathlessness and was diagnosed with a massive heart attack that caused extensive damage to the heart muscle.
