  • South India’s Largest Property Fair to Display 200 properties from over 75 developers in Chennai for Three days 
Chennai, 8th March 2024: The 16th edition of CREDAI Chennai’s annual flagship property and real estate exhibition “FAIRPRO 2024” was Inaugurated by Actor Ms. Suhasini Maniratnam and Actor Ms. Priya Bhavani Shankar, Brand Ambassadors, of FAIRPRO 2024 in the presence of past presidents of Credai Chennai, Mr. Chitty Babu, Mr. Suresh Krishn, Mr. Habib and Mr. Padam Dugar, Mr.  Sivagurunathan - President, Mr. Ravi Ranjan, CGM - SBI, Mr. Kruthivas – Secretary and Mr. Aslam Packeer Mohamed, Convenor, FAIRPRO 2024. 
The three-day event starting today will showcase over 200 projects with 32.5 million square feet of apartment space, 0.25 million square feet of commercial space, and 325 acres of plots available for prospective homeowners to choose from. This year, FAIRPRO will showcase homes starting from Rs. 15 Lakhs to Rs. 15 Crores from 75+ CREDAI Developers.

Chennai, August 19, 2025: In a remarkable medical achievement, the multidisciplinary team at SIMS Hospital successfully treated a young IT professional suffering from Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans (DFSP), a rare and aggressive skin cancer that swiftly spreads to surrounding tissues, including muscle and bone. In the patient’s case, the cancer had severely affected his scalp and skull. The scalp is now fully covered with healthy and stable tissue. The patient will need regular follow-up for early detection of recurrence, sun protection, and good scalp hygiene. After the tumour was removed, the patient’s skull was reconstructed. Then, the scalp was repaired in stages using skin grafts ,flaps tissue expander and the final repair using a piece of tissue from the patient’s thigh. Chennai, August 22, 2025 — A recent study by the Insurance Awareness Committee (IAC-Life), conducted in collaboration with Kantar, a market research platform has identified Tamil Nadu as one of the states with a high potential for life insurance penetration. The study underscored the importance of region-specific insights in advancing life insurance penetration.
