Cancer Can Be cured if detected early, Do not ignore symptoms of early cancer. To emphasize the same Kauvery Hospital Chennai is organizing the Run . The Run has both 10Km and 5 Km categories.

Chennai, 15 October 2025: A 13-year-old boy from an economically disadvantaged background made a remarkable recovery at Madras Medical Mission (MMM) Hospital, Chennai, after facing life-threatening complications from a chronic heart condition. His condition rapidly worsened, leading to a dramatic drop in heart function, unresponsive blood pressure, kidney failure requiring dialysis, and liver congestion. A heart transplant became the only viable option. With his father working as a driver and unable to afford the high cost, financial support was arranged through MMM’s Social Works Department and a major Trust. Just as doctors considered temporary cardiac support, a donor heart from a young adult became available through TRANSTAN, far sooner than expected. Chennai, October 17, 2025: Vasan Eye Care Hospital, Chrompet, in collaboration with Shrimathi Devkunwar Nanalal Bhat Vaishnava College for Women, jointly observed World Sight Day 2025 with a powerful message on preventing vision loss and promoting safe Diwali celebrations. Over 150 college students participated in a unique Blind Walk, symbolically tying black ribbons over their eyes to raise awareness about visual impairment and the importance of eye donation. The event also included a vibrant rally advocating for eye care, eye safety during Diwali, and support for the visually impaired.
