Tamilnadu Millets Conclave to be held at Coimbatore on 7 - 8, Jan 2023 as part of International Year of Millet
Chennai, December 8, 2022: As you may know the year 2023 has been announced as "The International Year of Millet" by the United Nation. India being the largest producer of millets, preparations for celebrating the year of millets in a grand manner has started already in full swing.

As a millet renowned state of India - from Tamil Nadu we are leading the campaign. We have planned for TamilNadu Millets Conclave from 07 to 08 of January 2023 in association with Nirmala college for Women, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. To mark it as a movement we have been conducting anMillet's Awareness Programmes in every district to bring together students with the awareness of millets and also build a community of millet Entrepreneurs in every district and create business opportunities for each of the startups.
Our Objective is Reviving the traditional foods of TamilNadu. Creating Food Entrepreneurs & Student Entrepreneurs for the Millet industry.

We will be conducting 100+ Millet awareness programmes in colleges in every district through the International Millet Year 2023 to share the knowledge on the impact on millets and revive the traditional food of India and to insist on the importance of this awareness towards a healthy living.
Each programme will comprise around 6000 to 7000 student participants around 60 to 80 free stalls showcasing millet and millet value added products. Guest Speakers including the District Collectors of the respective city sharing knowledge on the benefits of millets.
Based on our initiation of this campaign, our Govt have taken the steps of passing the G.O to conduct such awareness programmes in every district for this cause.
We have already completed 5 awareness programmes and we have planned to complete another 10 programmes before the grand event on 7th Jan.
