District Employment and Career Guidance Centre, Chennai conducts "cost-free" competitive exams coaching classes for economically and socially backward students


Chennai: As a Special Venture a  coaching class was inaugurated by the Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu Dr.V.Irai Anbu, I.A.S., on 23.11.2022 at the Community hall, Kannagi Nagar, Okkiyam Thuraipakkam, Chennai.

More than 100 aspirants participated in the inaugural function.  Majority of the people living in the habitat are economically and socially backward.  They do not have proper guidance about higher education, careers, and job opportunities.  Most of the young graduates of  Kannagi  Nagar are first generation graduates.  This permanent coaching centre at Kannagi Nagar would benefit the youth of this area.

Regular tests and model exams will be conducted as a part of these coaching classes.  A small library will also be established.  Regular Coaching Classes will thereafter be organized for all competitive examinations like  TNPSC exams, TNUSRB, IBPS and RRB in Kannagi Nagar on a continuous basis.
