Actor Ganesh Venkatram & Apsara Reddy Opens Transwoman Madhuri's "Mega Juice Center" at Adyar


  • Mega Blunt Juice shop was opened with the aim of helping transgender people to live with dignity

Chennai, April 5, 2022: A juice shop was donated by Apsara Reddy to transgender women Madhuri & Mayura.  As part of Dignity Project started by Apsara, nearly 35 entreprenurial ventures have been donated to transwomen including idli carts and tailoring units.

Opened by Actor Ganesh Venkatraman and attended by Police and Corporation officials, this cart Mega Blend Juice will be in Indira Nagar and managed by Transgender women Madhuri & Mayura.




Apsara says, “Transgender women are capable of living a life of dignity and courage. We need to empower them. Charity and giving money alone will not raise their standard of living. Entrepreneurship is a way for them to establish themselves. It provides them a decent living and respect in society.”
