2019:Miss
Diva 2020 announced the launch of its 8th edition and association of
LIVA, the fashion ingredient brand as Title Sponsor over a press conference
graced by Miss Universe 2000 Lara Dutta and the reigning Miss Diva Universe,
Vartika Singh on 11th November 2019 in Mumbai.
LIVA Miss Diva 2020, the coveted beauty pageant,
pursued by several young women in the country is back with its 8th
edition and will see young aspirants from across the nation competing for the
coveted title.
The much-awaited city-wise auditions were held
in Chennai on 24th November 2019 at Grand Chennai by GRT Hotels who came on
board as the host and the Hospitality & Venue partner for Chennai
auditions. Chennai received an overwhelming response from aspiring Divas as it saw100
shortlisted entries. The Chennai Auditions were judged by:
Karun
Raman,
a self-made Chennai boy who has won the
hearts of many people. He started off as a fashion choreographer and is now
doing a lot more. He is currently hosting a show called called EngaVittuMapillai
with actor Arya on colors Tamil.
Meghali an actress and model who has appeared frequently in Tamil Cinema. She made her Tamil debut in P. Vijay's
film Aarudhra.
Through this incredible journey of
bringing forth Indian beauty and talent at the global beauty platform, LIVA
Miss Diva 2020,will continue its tradition to find that one girl who will
revolutionize the definition of Beautiful,
Confident, Dynamic, and Vivacious,with an aim to extend
whole-hearted support to the new generation women who have the potential to lead.
The chosen ones from Chennai and the remaining 9
cities – Lucknow, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Pune, Bangalore, Jaipur,
Chandigarh, and Delhi will arrive at Mumbai for the final auditions trailed by
a 4 city preliminary media
tour in Jaipur, Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai. This
tour will be complimented by various sub-contests which shall culminate into
thematic evenings.
The winner of LIVA Miss Diva 2020 will represent
India at the esteemed global platform Miss Universe 2020 and LIVA Miss Diva Supranational
2020 will represent the country at the Miss Supranational 2020. Apart from the
fame and glory, the winner also stands a chance to take home prizes in cash and
kind, running up to 10 lacs.
