Big Biking Commune receives massive response in its first edition Chennai

Chennai, 25th February 2019 : With the participation of 4000 plus bikers, Big Biking Commune witnessed success in its first edition. The three day event supported by Tamil Nadu Tourism was inaugurated at Mahabalipuram by Thiru V. Palanikumar, IAS , Commissioner of Tourism and Chairman & Managing Director, TTDC.

Over the three days, the participants had a great opportunity to exhibit their passion for riding and their skills. More than 50 biking club influencers across India took part in this show sharing their ride stories. It was one of a kind event with differently abled riders and women bikers who have set records by traveling around the country and world. The event celebrated the spirit of biking with workshops, bike technicals, stunt shows, custom-made and vintage bike exhibit, beachside games and contests.
 
The “My story” sessions had inspiring and motivational stories from bikers and few to be mentioned are Dr. Maral Yazarloo, Iranian motor biker who is a world record holder, Ms. Veena Shetty, and Ms. Minakshi Mohanti. Legendary Bikers like Subash Chandra Bose otherwise called Bullet Bose, shared their early biking days and experiences. Clubs like Ghost Riders and other bikers also exhibited their skills with jaw dropping stunt shows.


The evenings had a mix of entertainment with musical performances from bands like Thaikkudam Bridge, Pineapple Express and Swahha. The event concluded with awards and felicitations for bikers.
